Elena Petraki

Elena Christofidou is a distinguished architect and urban planner with a career spanning over four decades.Elena graduated from the esteemed National Technical University of Athens, where she acquired an understanding of the built environment, ultimately earning her architectural degree.

Her early years saw her contributing to important projects across Cyprus and Athens. Her dedication and proficiency eventually led her to a full scholarship at the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she further expanded her horizons, earning a master’s degree in Town Planning.

Over her extensive career, Elena amassed a wealth of knowledge in town planning legislation and procedures. Her insights into regulatory frameworks and meticulous adherence to legal nuances have been pivotal in her role within the town planning department for over 40 years. Rising to the esteemed position of Director, Elena’s pragmatic approach and deep-rooted expertise have not only steered her own projects but have also served as a beacon of guidance for fellow practitioners.

Having retired from her directorial role, Elena now brings her wealth of expertise to our consultancy. As a trusted consultant, she offers invaluable insights into diverse aspects of town planning, procedures, and building regulations.
